Here are more RBA Noticeables from #SouthernTuneUp…
Morghan Reckley (5'6/PG/'28/AEBL 16u)
IG: itsmorghan_03
X: @itsmorghan_03
Morghan is a lead guard who can really score the rock. As a score-first PG, she was in attack mode most of the time and is a really good iso scorer. She is loaded with tools off the bounce as she does a good job creating separation with the dribble to get her shot off, and she has a really quick first step that helps her get by defenders. She is very comfortable initiating the offense, operating in the pick-and-roll game, knifing through defenses to get to the cup, scoring at all levels, and using her scoring threat to get teammates open looks. She is more comfortable with the ball than without it, and being a PG with the ball in her hands most of the game, her teammates often become spectators, watching her cook, something she will grow to recognize and make more effort to keep them engaged. She listed the following offers in her profile:
Florida State
Mississippi State
Kentucky
South Alabama
University of Georgia
University of Memphis
Louisville
GA Tech
Auburn
Georgetown
Lovely Gabriel (6'3/PF|C/'26/Essence 10th Prime)
IG: Lovely_wazhere
X: @Lovely_wazhere
Lovely has an interior game that does not resemble her name as she is an inside presence that makes life difficult for opposing players, which for them is not lovely. She has good positional size and, at times, can be physical when banging for rebounding position. Offensively, she is still developing her skill set and scoring capabilities, but one thing she does well is catching high, keeping high, and scoring. She finds herself at the line often because she draws a lot of traffic, leading to many people swatting at the ball in her hands. She still has room to develop the ability to score outside the paint and put the ball on the floor. She listed the following offer in her profile: FAU.
Maleeyah Fletcher (6'3/C/'29/FBC UNITED 14u)
IG: m5_blocks_
Maleeyah is a developing inside presence who eats up a lot of space and makes it difficult for opposing players looking to attack the cup to find success. She is not the most agile and has to continue working on her lateral movement, but if any ball handler chooses to test her, she often smothers the scoring attempt. Despite still being raw offensively, you can see that she has been working as she has a soft touch scoring at the rim, and understands keeping the ball high. She rebounds very well due to her size at this age. Her development over the next few years will be one to keep an eye on.
Delaney Cooper (5'9/SG/'25/Team Berry)
IG: Delaneyjazzy
X: @Delaney_cooper_
One of the best scorers throughout the weekend was Delaney. She is a talented scorer with scoring versatility. Whether she is getting it done in transition or scoring in the half-court, she can get a bucket at any moment during a possession. She showed three-level scoring ability, and she puts defenders on their heels when she is attacking off the bounce. She is an open-court asset who can finish at the cup in transition. In the half-court, her scoring creation is really difficult to contain. She has to continue working on improvisation when her scoring prowess is taken away by team's crowding the lane. She also has to continue her work in the weight room as she prepares for life at the next level. She listed the following offers in her profile: Nicholls. University of Louisiana. Queens University. South Alabama. Umass. Delaware State. UMBC. Lafayette College. Manhattan College. Stony Brooke. Georgia Southern. William and Mary. Hampton. Mercer.
Meeyah Green (5'8/CG/'26/FBC United)
IG: meeyahgreen24
X: @meeyahgreen24
Meeyah is a talented backcourt prospect who can score and facilitate the offense. Really good things happen for her team when she is orchestrating and being a playmaker. When she is attacking off the dribble, she is a tough iso scorer who can put the rock in the basket or find teammates for easy scoring opportunities. She is a skilled iso scorer who can drive to either side and finish with either hand around the rim. The biggest strength of her offensive game is her slashing ability. She is very heady with the rock in her hands and plays with a good pace, understanding, and feel for the game. This was my first time seeing Meeyah compete, so identifying areas of growth will be put off until I can see her in action again or have time to watch some film. She listed the following offers in her profile: Clemson, Georgia, UCF, UNLV, Mississippi State, Arizona, and Georgia Tech.
Nyla McFadden (6'0/Wing/'25/Essence Purple)
IG: sheisnyla.mcfadden
X: @Sheisnyla_mcf
I have seen Nyla compete several times since the beginning of the AAU season. Her performance on Sunday against FBC was one of the best I have seen her put together. She scored well from all levels, and, at some points in the game, she was her team's best offensive weapon. She showed her overall game and her two-way impact. She showed scoring creativity all within the flow of the offense, but when things broke down, she made huge plays with her ability to create her own offense. She has really good body control and balance, moves well in all directions, and has fluid movement, which helps on both ends of the floor. Nyla has to continue working on her improvisational skills when her initial move is cut off and not force action that leads to awkward offensive possessions. Overall, in the Sunday game against FBC United, for stretches of the game, she was the best player on the floor.
